Processing example: MC Nylon Zero Valley Fiber

This is a case of perforating MC nylon using the ultra-hard drill "Zero Buri Fiber." MC nylon is prone to melting, and even with the zero burr drill (GK-HAZ) designed for aluminum and resin, fine burrs were generated. However, with the new product Zero Buri Fiber, there are truly zero burrs!! It is now possible to perforate even more cleanly and without burrs than before!! [ISA Coat Application Example] Drill Hole Machining

The material being machined is S45C! Here is a case where hole processing of 1071 was performed, resulting in the ability for continuous processing.

We would like to introduce a case study of the application of ISA coating in drilling hole processing. The cutting samples used were carbide drills with a diameter of 8.0 mm and oil holes. After processing 500 holes, the product from Company A (AlCrN-based coating) showed wear on the margin, while the product from Company B (AlCrN-based two-layer coating) exhibited minor defects on the margin and welding in the thinning area.
